I hope you´ll take the time needed We are only about 5/7 days behind our internal schedule because of the problem we had in the initial release. We had planned for a major patch 30/45 days down the road from the release date so this halt has allowed us to move up some stuff that would otherwise have waited till the first patch to get fixed. So it was not a total loss as you will get a better product sooner. From our point of view this was just a common sense thing to do since we are just hobbyists & figured there would be things we had not thought of that would be turned up by the guys playing our game. Right now the only thing we are concerned about is that many of you guys have spent a lot of time & emotional energy getting the initial download only to be told by us that you will have to do it all over again. Hopefully you will be able to get version 1.1 in the next few days & we can take the short break we have been looking forward to.

people like BadKarma with a "Sorry to hear you are upset Why should I lie to him? There are any number of people I am sorry that we caused some anxiety to because of the release issues, he is not one of them Over the past 17-18 years in doing these projects I have found it better to be honest & direct with people rather then laying on some phony PR / BS, posting words that I do not mean & everybody who knows me knows I did not mean. We have had well over 1,000,000 AvHistory aircraft downloaded despite my obvious deficiencies in marketing acumen. I will just have to continue to limp along being me instead of pretending to be the happy backslapper just to move a few more free planes. As for using shockwave as a model I don't think you will find any big fans of theirs among the 50 or so people involved with MAW & I will not go any further down that road. BTW the moderator was saying to us to all back off, the thread is over & opinion or not, your stretching it out was counter productive.

Not gonna say it again. Both sides, back off the rhetoric.

What an ingrate. Talk about biting the hand the feeds you (for free)! Given the tone of the initial post, I'd classify Bears response as mild. I'd have really let him have it - the 10yr old blighter.
Thanks for all the hard work, Bear (and all). Just ignore twits like this. Lemme guess! Your not the fastest and brightest bulb!

No, sorry to break the hard truth on you, but you're (check out the spelling) the one who should engage brain before fingers: you complain about something that the MAW team had never planned (the count down was), something that's just so trivial that you just sound like a spoilt child. Furthermore, if you read the Netwings forums and the MAW site, you should know then that they have stopped the release because of issues, not because of a whim.
Question : have you ever created mods of a big scale (I mean complete 3D models) for a game? If you haven't, then you have really no idea of the time and dedication it takes! So you should just shut up and be thankful for the people who offer you hours of enjoyment for free.
PS : I've been modeling a plane for cfs3 for a year and half now, and if somebody like you would complain about a small delay in the release(because it will be small, whatever your opening post implies), I would be pretty pissed off.
