Dege has released a new version of DGVoodoo glide wrapper - 1.5 Beta 2.

Of interest for Red Baron:
- hardware accelerated palette change option
- big memory support -> select 64MB memory, and enable 'Texmem set to 4MB' option, in dgVoodooSetup.

These options were made by Dege specifically for Red Baron.

For some people, dgVoodoo always worked better than OpenGlide. Let's hope now it works even better

P.S. Right-click on main dgVoodooSetup window, and select 'Show render specific settings'. A third tab will appear near 'Global' and 'Glide', tab called 'Render specific'. Select that tab and enable 'Enable hw accelerated regenerating of palleted textures, if available' option. Use DirectX 9.

Thanks, Laser. I had already seen your post at the SWWISA forum. I've been very happy with dgVoodoo, but I'll be happier still if this new version gets me more fps!

Seems to be faster then modified OpenGlide on ATI boards, and for me in multiplayer (NVidia board here), because chat lines do not slow the FPS
