Hello everyone! I have just installed LOMAC FC 1.12a on my PC and its runing sweet.I just upgraded to Windows Vista (32bit) and my only problem is my sound, for some reason the sound is VERY VERY VERY loud!
i have tried to turn the volume down in the game options, but its to no use. anyone know how to fix this? and yes i have updated my audio drivers.

Its a known bug due to the way Vista handles 3D sound. This is the very reason that many are also having problems with their high-end sound cards as Vista does not use DirectSound as did WinXP. No fix for this so far, but there are workarounds for some sound cards ( add-ons and built-in ). Check the sticky at the top as I posted a few updates to help things run even smoother, but the latest fix I posted was mainly for those running nVidia nForce boards with nVidia video cards.

Are you using a X-fi card? In that case, install ALchemy and the sound will improve a lot.
Made wonders to IL-2 and Lomac for me.
