We did a 30secs teaser:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJjGgZ08ToQ

and here the spanish language version (y acá la versión en español) :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CObPyTVeZcA

We're accepting suggestions for the texts in the spot. \:\)

P.S.: some shots are 'anim' and some are in-game, but all use original Jet Thunder flight sim models and its textures - it's just a matter of time for our 3d engine do all this for real even the Exocet shot with lighting and all. ;\)

If you need Spanish-English and aeronautical slang translators for this project send me a private message.

So far:

HACE 25 AÑOS LA DETERMINACIÓN DE LOS PILOTOS DE COMBATE EN LAS MALVINAS SORPRENDIÓ AL MUNDO.

AHORA, UN SIMULADOR DE VUELO PARA ORDENADOR TE SORPRENDERÁ

(please note the commas)

Thanks for the help! We have Ariel Cancio from Argentina in the team, although I guess you're from Spain ? In Argentina I see that they use 'computadora' instead of 'ordenador', for example. \:\)

Yes, Argentinian can be different from Spanish, as Australian is from English.

I am interested on this project since conception. So if you need any help, just tell me what can I do.

I'd change the text passage at the end from "a unique combat flight simulator", to "a unique combat flight simulation" (unless you're building the hardware for it too). ;\)

The video is fantastic though, and the wave-top missle launch is wonderful to behold!

Although I'm an early aviation nut, I have had my eye on this sim for years, and will get it when it's finished (looks like the "historography" will be very good too).

Hmmm Are you going to market it separately to Argentinians and everyone else? I'm only asking since all the shots in this promo are of AAF(what is the acronym for the Argentinian air force?) jets.

for the Argentinian promo I think it should say:

"25 years ago brave aviatiors risked all for their country"

then

"Now a unique combat flight simulator puts you in the cockpit"

For the everyone else version:

"25 years ago brave aviators of 2 nations met in battle over the Falklands"

"Now a unique combat flight simulator puts you in the cockpit"

But to be honest the only teaser I want is a beta copy of this. Thanks for doing this unique theater and aircraft sim!

Thanks for all the feedback, guys!

FlyRetired: interesting to know the differences between simulation and simulator, we'll address that! I've used "simulator" because it seems it's used more - e.g. Microsoft Flight Simulator and so on. \:\)

Colt40Five: we're pondering to have differences in the argentinean release. Small ones. Like Lock On, where US version has A-10 on cover art while european version has Luftwaffe MiG-29. We must respect the differences, for example, Argentina is celebrating 25 years at April 2, while UK will do the celebrations in June. I like your sayings for the promo, both! Will do a version with it. ;\)

You guys are doing great job, let it be seen in a teaser. What i mean is you should make more short cuts, so you can show more, like Harrier, etc. First part, up to Etendard launching a missile is great, later on its a bit slow, or you should find better angles for the camera.
Anyway, if game would look like that Exocet launch, I believe you should have Bright future!

Um, I think "celebrate" is the wrong word to use. ;\)

"celebrate" is what I'll be doing when I get to fly this sim!
