Hello falconeers, It´s my first post here in F4AF. It´s about how campaign works, first day of campaign in Balkans, I destroyed one of enemy Mig21 Squadrons totally. At air base target status showed 0% totally destroyed. But with airfield all destroyed to in first hour of second day, how that Serbians can put in that base another full stack MIg squadron with 18 aircraft 100% operational? I was playing F4 from microprose long time ago, as I can´t find any new descent simulator I come back last week buying that new AF version. I don´t know how campaign work our if it´s a knowed bug. thx for any help

You will probably see loads of AN-24 coalers flying resupply into damaged airbases. Granted the campaign isn't perfect, but it does a good job of presenting a fluid air and ground war. Mush better than 'canned' missions in most other simulations.

In my opinion this is also "hot game" scripting. The sim wants the gamer to have air to air combat, not a shut down the enemy airforce. The Migs are not rare national treasures but a GM production line. I hope this is fixed in Options someday. We dont all want a bar room brawl in the sky every time out. Could very well be, not 100% sure myself. However, it does sound like something related to the acknowledged hyperactivity in the original F4 code.

I've seen plenty of campaigns where the enemy airforces have been attrited to the point of inactivity. My dedicated server up on hyperlobby has reached that point on many occasions.
What WW2 Fighter pilots say about Angels and Airspeed:
"Nice job of getting down to the basics - love your choice of a cover!" Col. Clarence 'Bud' Anderson
"I have enjoyed reading angels and airspeed, it should prove good reading for all interested in combat tactics and their application related to the fluid air environment and state of technology in WWII years. All the best as you make it available." - Col. Charles McGee - Tuskegee Airman
NEVER ENGAGE STUPID.
