Well I didn't delete anything. My guess is that it may have got lossed during the shuffle while the slowdowns were being fixed today. \:\(

I'm afraid Crop is correct. I've received word that the downloads crippled the server. Now for the bad news. It seems that SimHQ won't be posting those pics and videos again anytime soon. If I hear of anything new I'll be sure to post a sticky.

I've shared what has been told to me. Nothing more, nothing less.

It looks like it wasn't meant for the peasants.

Its a shame, most of us only got a brief look at the thumbnails because the site was so slow.

couldnt the images be posted to imageshack or some where of the like & the links posted here, or would that use up the same amount of bandwidth?

Yeah, the bandwidth... as all sort of other contents at SimHQ were not constantly opened, downloaded, etc....

Those screens looked odd at the actual stage of development though, being "old" (and seen yet) content for the vast majority. I have the feeling it was the tiles to cause the withdraw, though. And maybe what someone has commented...

to feed the dog, and the dog's job is to bite the pilot if he touches anything...

That is so depressing.

If some of us members managed to save a lot of the E3 screenshots may we be permitted to post them here for the benefit of those that missed them?

The Sailor’s Grave

There are no roses on a sailor’s grave,
No lilacs on an ocean wave,
The only tribute is a seagull’s sweep,
And the teardrops that their sweetheart’s weep.

No, please don't. I don't want to elaborate but please don't.

My take on it:

Ubi's paranoia strikes again. I've seen them limiting information after buying out BlueByte, I've seen them "organizing a beta test", I've seen them pulling the plug on community management ...

You know what is sad? I was offline for a few days and didn't see the pics.

It would be nice to know what's happened.

These things tend to rumble on without the full story, and I'm nosey.

CKY I don't see any reason why it shouldn't Ubi. From my past experiences with that little club I'm extremely surprised that they haven't managed to alienate Oleg to give them a well-deserved kick in the backside. I just can't think of any other reason than Ubi being Ubi ... again ...

So SimHQ didn’t receive permission to post those images….that is the only explanation I can think of.
