Yes, sadly Nic was killed in Thailand in a boating accident 11 months ago. It appears production ceased after that.

I think you can learn everything you need to from the FC manual. The FC manual is not just a supplement to the LOMAC 1.0 manual; it is a complete manual that covers all aspects of Lock On 1.1.

I remember playing Matt's campaign for JF-18 (Valhalla) and getting my clock cleaned after just a few missions. He revels in our pain! :p

I also remember being brutalized by Valhalla... still one of the best combat flightsim campaigns I have had the pleasure of flying.

After Nic passed away his brother tried to tie up the loose ends of the manual production and complete the remaining orders. He was truely a gentleman and put forth a great effort to help out Lock On customers with his manual. I am honored that I was able to contribute and work with him.

Hey Beach... the key to keeping the rubber on the nosewheel intact is to make sure that when you lower the nosewheel it is straight when it touches down.

Here is a track I made a long time ago of a xwind landing of 12 m/sec.

Ah..yeah..I'm probably keeping the crosswind side-slip inputs in too long and skidding that sucker...I'll straighten her up next time! \:\)

Thanks for these reports Beach. You have single handedly sold me on the immersion and quality of this sim that I am looking for right now.

I am an IL2 series guy but wanted to get into the modern jet scene and this looks like where its at. Keep em coming! I can't wait to fly this sim after I hopefully recieve it as a gift for Christmas.

Don't know why, but as I load up this mission I have a CTD

Only with this file, as if it was corrupted \:\(
