[QUOTE/]btw looks like we hit 1000th post here? [/QB][/QUOTE] Isn't it about time this sim had its own forum, given the huge amount of interest shown? Maybe many folk are still unaware of the game, it being tucked away inside the IL2 forum.

Ming, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore. More like somwhere over the rainbow. Hey I kinda like the fact that we're tucked away under IL-2/FB/AEP/PF here......who would log into a "KotS" forum anyway......sounds like something you would sleep on when you get exhausted from too much flight simming!

From Sensei I understand that CFS3 AI rates really low, perhaps that's it I just don't know.
Has CFS3 gone bargain bin yet? And I don't mean dropped from $50 clear down to $40 either. $20 or under and I'd give it a try... maybe. I gave my I paid full price for copy of CFS original away since it was to me a waste of time after 3 months. Neal S! Please let me make a plea for you to try OFF. I know you have a suspicion of CFS3 ( as i did - in fact, I wouldn't play it for months - no trackIR )), and though you need that sim in order to play OFF, let me tell you it is NOT AT ALL like CFS3. It is a sim in its own right and the best I ever played. I have just returned to Il-2 (4.04)where the offline AI is now a lot better, and good though it is , it isn't a patch on OFF. OFF uses trackIR 3 pro or 4 with vector expansion. IL-2, for whatever reasons, does not. If you use trackIr 3 pro or 4, then OFF gives you a real treat. Sit up slightly in your real seat and you are looking over the cockpit shield along the top of the guns, or along the top of the fuselage to see the whole rear of the plane- or lean over the side and look along the engine block etc. The planes and terrain are better than Il2 -FB- and they are brilliant, as we know. I am not knocking this new Russian WW1 WIP- I shall no doubt buy it when it is released, it looks brilliant- but do yourself a favour and try OFF. I reckon you'll stay with it till this new sim, and beyond. I am nothing to do with the team- I am a mere punter. I have tried all the sims over the years, and i am not an impressionable kid, I am nearly a pensioner - This OFF is formidable as a sim. If you miss it, it is your loss. Loyalty to RB3d is highly commendable- I have played it and loved it- but OFF is something else. There are quite a few RBers now playing OFF including Polovski and Otto von Stachel (OvS). Go on, give it a go, what do you have to lose?

I feed you the lines Flyby Engage em see you sprogs, then they're stuck with it. Flypaper works this way No seriously mate please tell your loyal pre-purchasers that ingame screenshots are on the way these Photoshopped images are excellent truly but I would like to see an ingame screenshot if it's not too early he asked innocently. I remember Desert Fighters does that help We never sleep mate we sit waiting for developers to show up and then get them to show us the good bits - just in case we are talking pizzas which those shots imply not but we'll see next time. Or not. Oz theme, read the book for more clues: smoke and mirrors. To be decided. Ming

Yep, never trust the man behind the curtain until he humbly admits he knows no more than you, but cannot tell the kingdom as such, or he would break their hearts. Once man has the courage to admit his lack of knowledge, he will find a fountain of wisdom.......and maybe even his soul. I think they call this "psihoanalitics". (I know, nothing like Minglish, but it's the best I can do over pizza)

It would be a hazzle to have to go to a whole different forum, and in here I am quite sure that KotS get's much more exposure as well. In this fase, getting exposure to the sim is all-important. We need to create a buzz so tht sales will be huge so that there will be add-ons... (OK, maybe moving a bit far ahead here, but i'm not the only one...)

There ya go Ming! Didn't realize you were looking for the short answer before (somethin' must have gotten lost in the translation). I'm pretty sure "wow" is part of our universal language.
