just wanted to let you know that I've made a new set of HOTAS files that make use of the fact LP have added analogue controller detection to version 1.03 of Allied Force.

I've also built a step by step guide to setting up my files and the controller section within Allied Force v1.03.

both can be found here...

Many thanks Jags. Much appreciated.

As I run some other controls (P8000 pads, voice comands etc) the changes to the .key file may have an impact on my other settings.

I know the .rtf describes the .key changes to allow the extended keyboard to act as an ICP, but, do you have a list of the changes you made to the stock AF .key that you could post?

To be honest Durrie I don't have a record of the .key changes. The file included is the same file that I used in my sp3/4 HOTAS files with LP's new keystrokes pasted in at the botom.

The .key file used has many many changes to minimize the use of chorded keystrokes, and I do wish I'd documented them but unfortunately I didn't.

Sorry I can't help

Are they ASCII files? If so, they could be parsed through a versioning system to get a diff.

Cheers,
Fred

Heh.

Love the profile work, Jags.

Gotta figure out just what you changed so I can re-incorporate it into mine. :p

Right now I have a lot of teamspeak and joystick curve functionality (curves help a lot with FCC...) on the radio switch. \:\)

OK, thanks Jags not to worry.

I'll see if I can dig out the old lisiting I did of your BMS2 .key and make a comparison...somehow \:\)

Durrie, the .key file pretty much the same as the one in my BMS files other than some DX entries and AF's bunch of new functions at the bottom.

If you guys do manage to do a comparison with the vanilla AF .key file I'd love to see the result.

Hello Jagstang,
I absolutely love your files, but since I've done this update, I can't seem to use T1 to move the radar cursor around, or use the range and ant knobs to adjust the range or antenna elevation. I followed your instructions to a T, maybe I miss understood something but not sure.

Thanks,
Andy

I've spent the last few days rewriting my F4AF files as they contained a lot of legacy stuff from previous versions that just didn't need to be there. As part of this process I've made a fresh new keystrokes file based on the default F4AF one and have written an excell file (included in the download) showing every change I've made.

Hope this helps.
