Another thing: the 115th is not an operational squad. It's the new "red" squadron that will also operate helis and ground vehicles.

What I meant was that the 115th is an aggressor unit (that like I wrote use\going to use a lot more than just the F-16A/Bs), and not operational as the other ones...

ohhh ... they are flying already and all thier pilots are combat fit, the squad opening celebration was about a month ago

No pictures of the actual mission, but there is a group photo taken just before they took off which has never been released. The author interviewed all the living pilots and some of the mission planners and decision makers. He also watched the complete cockpit tapes of the strike. The book really does read like a Tom Clancy techno-thriller. I learned a lot about the mission and realized that what little I thought I knew was wrong.

Get it, best “impulse buy” I’ve done in a long time!
