5.1 means you get front L/R, rear L/R and EITHER a center or a subwoofer. Not both.
You'll need to setup your sound card so that one of the oulets is for the sub and not the center channel. Once you have that output, you'll need to send that signal to an amplifier and then on to the sub.
You might need to supply more info. I dont know what kind of sub system you're talking about. Is it a separate woofer that you picked up from somewhere like Ebay or is it part of a 5.1 sound "system" like a Creative.
The sound card doesnt amplify it and yu cant hook teh sub directly to the card unless it is a "powered" sub.
The card only supplies a flat line signal. When you setup the card for sub output, it only sends the low frequencies out of that output.
If you want both woofers going, then you need a splitter from electronics store and split the signal frm the card and send each signal to two amplifiers for the subs. Its really hard to tell what type system you are working with. But thats the general idea.
Your seat is looking good. Nice work on the headrest.
The printouts of the switch panels are cool. But look at
this and see if you dont think they would look cooler ! You could even hook them up with a few more interface boxes.
