Here is a plan I made of a Ta-152 cockpit dash(The Über 190). I used a picture I found somewhere on the internet. Pasted it in Autocad and traced the lines. Then fixed all the scan errors of the original drawing(crooked lines due to scanning process ) All of the parts are placed in a layer. So when it's time to make the panel I only have to select the layer I want to use.

I'm still working on the overall cockpit drawings. Mostly adding the small details.
Greetings,
J.A.K.

The panel is at his widest point approximately one meter wide (I think something like 105cm )

I have original engineering drawings of the two top panels from a Fw 190A8 if you want them. I imagine they would be the same dimensions as a 152 and the D9. (D9 or/and 109 cockpit is what I'm hoping to build) I cannot find any for the bottom panel yet.

Hey guys I would love to have a copy of your measurements for the 190.We are doing a Spit at the moment and it would be great to have a 190 pit next to it.We are doing our column, rudderbars etc in CAD if you would like to trade?

Wow Spitty That looks really fine. How did you got the dimensions for your drawings. I find it to be a hard job to get the right info

We have a set of drawings from spitfire restorations. There were no manufacturing drawings of the rudderbar but there was a General arrangement drawing of the rudder pedal assy, heelboards and rudder bar.Thank god the Brits scaled everything and kept all the bits the same proportions. As long as you know one measurement for a part just enlarge untill it reads correctly on a clear plastic ruler.

I make plans using pictures and drawings I found on the internet. I copy and paste the picture or drawing in autocad and trace the lines.
For a few months now I'm using a program named WinTopo. Its a tool for converting raster images to vector data. It really saves you alot of time when you use images.
Wintopo webpage
I also got a cd from The White one foundation containing big scans of manufacturing drawings

Wow the Rosetta stone .How cool are you!!I have the site saved in favourites, the work these guys do is fantastic. How much did the Cd cost??I would love a copy of them if you could.I will be willing to pay to go towards copying them or a swap could be in order. If the drawings are pretty messed up there is a program called FaxTiff viewer that cleans them up.A free demo is available here... Fax tiff viewer.

Yeah its a great project. Here's the link to the cd(50usdollars).
There are some really good drawings on the cd. Details of the windshield and the rib drawing(you can buy the rib drawing on ebay for the same price as this cd \:\) )
Will have a go with the Fax tiff viewer. Thanks!!

I did some work on the throttle, based on pictures and a little scan of a crosssection.

Its not a 100% copy......but I'm happy with it \:\) Planning to add buttons and a hat(because the KG13 grip doesn't has a hat  ), and naturaly the propeller pitch actuator.
