3rd mission is finaly done. Biggest mission so far (a whoopping 29.3KB )
What can I say? I like seeing other vehicles besides myself being on a mission, instead of just a bunch of static targets scattered throughout.
Flight#1 escorts Flight#2. Flight#2 extracts troops. Flight#3 escorts Flight#4. Flight#4 inserts troops. If the AI controlls Flight 1 and 3 they usually gets shot to pieces (the Blackhawks usually following shortly). And to Flexman, Reverant and Inspector: Flight4 do not have to pick up the troops again.

This is a good mission, plenty to challenge those of us who have a hard time identifying enemies at night.

I blew Shadow's tail rotor to bits on the assumption he was one of the attacking Havocs, and then the second time I blew the Blackhawk up!

But we did it right by the third time.

haha yeah, identiying aircrafts at night is'nt all that easy. As you said, we did do it right by the 3rd or so time. Except me goofing around taking out a battery of SA-9 and 15 while not realizing a RBS/M113 nearby launching at me

Those infantry are really a handful in the mission, when I was playing it again, one of them almost got the Blackhawk with a missile (it might've been a SAM but I didn't notice any armored units on the radar).

Some of the soldiers have SA-18 (short-range, no warning in advance).
Most of the soldier groups consist of 5-6 soldiers and 2 soldiers with SA-18.
Fun is'nt it? :p
