Its been a while since we flew and there are a few new members here aswell. I think its time we plan another flight.
Last time we flew on a saturday, which seems to fit nicely for both Europeans and Americans.
How about Saturday November 19th at 22:00GMT?
That would be 23:00CET and 13:00PST.
That should give all of us some time to plan ahead.
I'll see if I can get my act together and finnish a new mission in time for the event too.

Is it possible to start just a bit sooner? Something like 21:00GMT? It can make all the difference in the world for some of us. \:\)

Thats fine by me. I just remember some Americans saying the time we played the last time was perfect for them.

We have both a TS and a Ventrilo server at our disposal. So far we've only used Magnums TS-server because someone said Ventrilo uses more bandwidth. Personally I disagree (its all up to what codec the server is using). My Ventrilo-server is using 4KB/s. I don't know what transfer-rate Magnums TS-server uses.

What's the TS server address? I'll try and make it if I can.

No thanks to the Kiowa, I just miss your sultry tones over my headphones.

Been a while since I got chance to fly with a group, if I just get one flight in that would be cool. I dumped my Cougar HOTAS in favor of the easier to use and marginally more reliable plastic version. That was my problem last time I think, the spring tension did allow for fine input. But LB2 works ok ish still thanks to the fine advice offered in these forums.

No Kiowas in my next mission, only Apaches and Blackhawks.
So you should be safe...maybe.... but then again I'm the one making that mission and Tunguskas make your RWR and ASE sing those beautiful songs \:D

Whoa it would be awesome to have the legendary Flexman join!

I miss Inspector's voice too \:\) I wonder if we can pry Enforcer out of retirement sometime.

I'm gonna try and make it for at least part of the time.

Based on our previous experiences, I have a suggestion:

When we all get in, don't bother with any mission planning or anything...just go right to FLY to make sure the connections are working for everyone. Nothing worse than spending a long time coordinating flights, waypoints, strategy only to hit the two bullet full stop and have to start all over. Once connections are verified, jump back in and plan with the foreknowledge that the connections will work. If there are problems, we can troubleshoot (Client firewalls, host settings etc..) until connects are achieved.

I've already sent him a msg on msn about this.
Have'nt received a reply from him though.
How about we all post our msn/icq/whatever info here to make it easier to get in touch?

Here I am at Big Bear Lake in the mountains of California on holiday.

Of course I brought my gaming laptop that runs LB2 and the control stick. Its 10:45 am pst and no one is here at Mags TS2 server. ;\)

Guess ill check back later. Wont know if this resort's ISP set up has the ports open or not for gaming. Will find out when folks arrive.

Till then, back to the beautiful scenery.
This is what I see from the room...

You're about 3 hours early.
Btw you must have a very small window in that room because I can barely make out the scenery \:D
