Greetings.

With some new patches around, I decided to spend the dough and buy BoB II. I looked at Best Buy, Target(2), Wal-Mart, Circuit City, and Gamestop. Of course some have it online, but I got all anxious and wanted it today. I live just North of Baltimore, MD.

Is there a direct download site? I would be willing purchase it that way. The cheapese I found online was Circuit City online @ $31.99 with free standard ground shipping. I will check Amazon and a few other places here in a moment.

As a sidenote, how will my rig fair with this sim? I have an AMD 64 3200 +, ATI x700 Pro, and 1 Gig o' RAM. I just thought I would ask while I was here.

You'll be fine with that system.

You could get it online from the Shockwave store. They cannot sell at a price lower than the retailers, though.

Check Ebay.

or CompUSA. I found several copies of the special edition (Map, DVD movie) there.

I found it at Circuit City online for $31.99 with free shipping! Pretty good price.

2 Install this patch: http://www.shockwaveproductions.com/bob/update/bob2_update_v2.03.zip

Come to think of it Old Dux, your name is in the manual. And in the game credits.

Right! I've got the game and unzipped the v2.03 patch as addressed from above but...refresh my memory...how can I tell if it is in the BoB directory?

BTW; Just a word of warning. While looking through the directory a message popped up from Panda anti-virus saying 'Hacking tool neutralized'

Perhaps this proves that the patch is in there!

Run the game and check the credits. It tells you what version you are running.

Or look in the bob directory. There's a file called bob_ver.txt which does the same.
