Vienna, 2nd rock left.
They are all pretty cool, but I see a lot of red in the faces...you're sure about your white-balance here?

If they are English then that accounts for the redness of their faces \:\)

white balance is spot on \:\)

Rachel's mum had just been and gotten a fake tan, John had a motorcycle accident when he was younger and has trouble, so has a redish face anyway..

the kids had been running a muk around the house for an hour before they had their shots ;\)

thanx for the comments ;\)

Poses-pretty well spot on!
Smiles-spot on
Color-spot on

Very nice work there...but a question--why do so many portrait shoots avoid natural light? But then again I detest sudio lighting and I think I have used my flashgun twice in the last couple years.

My only other comment would possibly to suggest more camera above/camera below poses as most of these are straight on.

ok u want natural light - its pissing down with rain - what u gonna do?

camera below isn't very flattering to people who don't have stick like figures, i was shooting from above them, not straight on.. (even in the ones where they were standing - they're a good 7 inches shorter than me ;\) )

You win mate \:\)
And I did say it was nice work. But were you using flash diffusers/bounce because the lighting does look a wee bit harsh......
