Didn't even know this was being made. Here are 3 screens which I thought were renders or cut-scenes but looking at the backgrounds it looks in game!! Looks nice.

I'd be really surprised if this is the next game as it would be simply re-doing MTW with a new engine. If it happens though I'll be the first to eat my chainmail socks. Sure it's a PC game? they did a thing called Spartan total warrior for X-box this is possibly the same kind of thing.

As far as I know 3D Gamers only do PC games. If it is real it looks like it will eat my CPU for breakfast!

This is on the sega site but nothing on CA's site?

http://www.sega.com/games/game_temp.php?game=medieval2

looks like I'll be eating those socks then...

Although it's my favourite historical period I still dont understand why they're doing medieval again rather than Napoleonic or Persian wars/Alexander or similar?

this is really going to piss off at least 10 teams of modders who are doing medieval/crusades mods for RTW lol.

The propeller is just a big fan in front of the plane used to keep the pilot cool. When it stops, you can actually watch the pilot start sweating.

Wow, good news...I loved MTW. Some things that caught my attention.

"Use Princesses for diplomatic gain, Priests to spread the influence of your religious beliefs and Merchants to fill your coffers for your war effort. All the time the Pope and the Papal States watch over the Christian world, assessing the strength of your faith and making demands to prove your loyalty. Do you cater to his whims and avoid excommunication or plot his downfall and rig the papal elections to place your own Pope in power?"

Hope this means the diplomacy (and the campaign game in general) is going to be a lot more robust than last time. One of my complaints about MTW was that there was no covert way to put "your guy" in the shoes of the fisherman; the best you could do was keep the Pope happy by doing whatever he said. The only way to really sieze the Papacy was to invade the Papal States, and then fight off rebellion after rebellion of some of the most powerful (and elite/veteran) units in the game.

"New epic campaign. The ambitious single player campaign will span three continents and let players sail across to the Americas to confront the Aztecs on their home soil."

This is another feature that was missing from MTW, and was on my wish-list. To be able to plunder the New World and use the resources to help crush all of Europe and the Holy Land under my mail boots (or socks, as it were).

I see they've taken the enlightened decision to make Scotland a playable faction.
