gd this, F/A-18 doesnt have this problem but i try to run setup and the windows splash screen starts and gets to 100% and then says "SEVERE USAF Currently installing" I have been opening the cd path and running that "USAF repair" program and it doesnt seem to work...

I swear with LoMac being delayed, SFP1 being a non force feedback title im hating it.

If you getting a USAF is being installed, look in your control panel/add/remove look for USAF there, or check your program files for usaf, run thre uninstaller from there. This message usually pops up, when a install was not completed,

If you explore the cd there is a repair program included on cd 1. Run that and you should be good to go.

I'm not sure if you are the one I E'd this to but here is a page right out of the manual that deals with this problem.

This is from the old hyperlobby forums, in case the repair-tool doesn't fix the problem

Quote:
RE: USAF install error "Severe: USAF is already being installed"

I had the same problem. You can resolve it easy:

1./ run regedit.exe
2./ browse key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
3./ then browse key Software
4./ then browse key Jane"s Combat Simulations

Under last key you will find key USAF. This you must delete ...

Be carefull with registry editor. If you delete other key , or change other values you can damage your windows configuration ...
