Hi all.

I am running the plain vanilla USAF install 1.01F, and Admin 8.25. And I noticed...the dreaded cushion bouncing bug. And I thought that this was not meant to be a "feature" of the default USAF installation.

any ideas on how to make it go away?

The CUSHION in 8.25?!

That's a case for Sherlock Holmes, me thinks. never seen it with 8.25a. Bugs me...I mean, beats me!

The cushion was there with the official 1.02f, but never appeared again!

Have you applied the NO/CD crack? That might be the root.

A while back I posted about this. If you get the NO CD crack for 1.02 and use it with version 1.01 (with or without new admin) you get the AI pillow. Go find the NO CD for 1.01 and everything is fine. One thing though you still have to have the CD in but it doesnt do the CD check allowing fast loading of the sim. The 1.02 NO CD allows you to not have the CD in at all. I hated the pillow so I live with having to have the CD in the drive I guess.

Yes, it's probably the 1.02 patch. Where can I find the 1.01 patch?

the 1.01 is the stock version

just reinstall and don't patch to the 1.02. Never heard of a way to go back. Reinstall in the only choice

There is no such thing Gavin just reinstall and apply the admin updates with nothing else and things are ok promise

Ah well.

I did a complete reinstall only a week ago, and my CD-ROM drive is dying, so until then, I will live with the bounce.
