Ok, I reinstalled the sim recently, patched it to 1.02 and the bobbing is driving me nuts. I like the sim, but its goin off the ole HD if this can't be fixed. I cannot find the FM's I see being talked about and I tried McFly's tweak for wing chord settings and it can't find the FM files and won't do anything.

I need help, I really want to like this sim and it needs to be fixed. The bobbing is very pronounced at high AoA and it makes it difficult to land. As many of you know..I am NO NEWBIE. I use a CH Combatsick and Pro throttle. Works fine in ALL other sims.

here is McFly's site. I believe the USAF group is using this as a DL source so it would be a good bookmark.

FM's should be on there last I heard from Jupiter.

Hornit, with your experience in the real skies and everything you have done for JF-18 I'm sure Jupiter would love to send the New FM's that are being beta tested. I'll see if his email is posted in here, hopefully he'll read this and reply to you.

Welcome to the new revolution of USAF. The game has just been re released in the format it should have been in in the original release.

Another test pilot is great news,

I have just finished stage 2 of the beta FMs in line with the USAF FM test team and your welcome to try the new ones.

The FMs are taking a lot of time to get as good as they can be but its an ongoing project. However releases will be "official" ones rather than just posting them up without the teams concent.

I have your email and I will be sending the stage 2 FMs to all this weekend. Im on holiday from this monday so hope to have the "official" release before then.

You mentioned to Hornit that the game has been "re-released" in the "format" it should have been to begin with. Would you mind explaining? Re-released when and how is the format different?

I think he was trying to say that it has been rereleased meaning there is a whole new following to this game now because of the admin and the new FM's

The FM's is what he would be talking about the new format, seeing the stock ones are crap!

Eh yeh its been re released as a bargin basement sim.

What I mean is that what the USAF community has done bares no resemblence to the original release out of the box, its changed almost beyond recognition. the "format" Im talking about is the communities reinvention of this left for dead great little sim that has had bags and bags of potential but its only because of tstorm and others that have helped released its potential therefore a re release

Hornit, please let the rest of us know when "U" think the fm's are good enough.
It's off my HD also, but I would like to reinstall it, but i need to see a green flag.

Just got back from ME. and will be looking at it over the next few days..I will let you know. All I want is for the bobbing to go away....even if things arent exact i can live with it really. The bobbing nose just kills it..as far as I can tell this is fixed, but I will let you know..don't worry!
