I've seen it in store here in Holland, but am not convinced that it's worth the 24,95 they'll require me to pay. See, I only buy good stuff. But when you guys would say 'it can and will be modded !', that'd be good enough 4 me ! \:\)

Bobby S! - Did you enjoy FCG? It's better, and potentially lots better.
If you fly with POV hat snap view ; or mouse view or better still TrackIR, then it really is good.
Follow my setup and it is not arcady.
Only real drawback is lack of torque ( and that can be over modelled ;\) ), and at the moment, lack of different planes to fly.
I gambled my £20 and I'm glad I did.

Mankind's problem is not failing to know the difference between right and wrong; - It is failing to know the difference between different and wrong

S! Cas,

I read your positive reviews yesterday -sorry I forgot to mention that ;\) - and was already much tempted to buy, but I thought I'd give it some more thought and wait for some more reviews and clarity regarding the moddability-issue. Besides, the price of these 'small market' games plummits usually within a matter of a few months, so that's a consideration as well. I think I have supported enough of unsupported (by publisher/developer) 'pseudo-sims' (*) by now over the last 5 years, if you get my drift ;\)

But it sure sounds tempting flying over great-looking Somme terrain in hi res WW1 kites ;\)
Cheers

P.S. (*) Yea, I know WoW doesnt pretend to be a sim. Clever little move by publisher ;\)
