I just received this photo from my sister who works and lives in Juneau, Alaska:

It's of a wild wolf and her neighbor's dog Sam as they play together in the snow. The wolf comes around this neighborhood on the outskirts of Juneau, to frolic with the pets there.

The fun and peaceful solitude is so striking!

Nope, no dogfighting here!

LOL That's sick, but it is funny. I have this wild pigeon that lobs on my back doorstep twice a day (morning and early evening) for a free feed. This animal is neither inline nor rotary powered. She is sunflower seed powered and has a top speed of 74 mph at sea level.

My sister wanted me to mention that the picture was taken of Sam and his wolf friend on Mendenhall Lake, near the Mendenhall Glacier just north of Juneau, by her neighbor Lin Randall this last Sunday (for the record). \:\)
