Probably. A lot will depend on how the product develops. If it looks to be a good, decent simulation with the correct aspects that I want (good campaign, decent aircraft list, good multiplayer, decent graphics then yes it will be on the top of my list.

We need a good new WW1 sim.

Let's be honest, it's been so long since a totally new WW1 sim has been out, it'd have to be a real dog to put us off.
We're all going to buy it aren't we?

For me it will depend on the campaign system and the AI. These two aspects of the game are critical to my enjoyment. The rest, FM, eye candy, views, etc., I take for granted that it will be superior to what we have now (a 5 year old game). If these two aspects of the game are superior to RB then I will buy it in a heartbeat.

I agree with Tom. Especially his last sentence!
FWIW, if Flying corps gold had Maddox made terrain then it would be it.
It's mission builder was great.

For me, campaign and AI will be key issues.

I already have WBIII and DoA for my on-line flying fix. I'm mainly looking for stuff I can fly OFF-LINE...which means a decent campaign and AI IMHO.

RBII/3D is good but it's showing its age a bit (even with Kess's excellent FCJ add-on).

It'll be good to have another WWI air sim in the same vein as RBII/3D

After being very unhappy with what UBI did to us flight sim folks-- I'll buy only after reading lots of postings. All that said, I would be very happy to spend lots of $$$$ for a game that does not need patches the day it leaves the plant!!! CW3SF

I've talked to quite a few gamers that have very much ineterest in this sim that don't frequent these forums. I will be getting a copy and I know of at least 6 or 7 others not associated with flight sims in particular.

If it is up to the standards of IL2-FB, I'll be pre-ordering it. The screen shots look encouraging. Don't care about lots of flyable planes. Rather good FM, DM and eyecandy will sell it for me.
