I went there yesterday with my family (my 3 year old son loved it) and had a blast. They had an Albatross, a Spad and one of only 2 Jenny's still flying in the world. The air show is every Saturday and Sunday through October and runs about an hour and 1/2 to 2 hours. There's also a museum there (it was too damn hot by this time so only ran through the hangers)...

Shock, I used to go up there back in the late sixties and early seventies when Cole Palen was still running the show. They were more into the entertainment aspect of it, rather than the Historical one, but it was a ball!
They used to put on a show, where they'd have the hero bomb an outhouse, with a real Sopwith Pup (not a replica) and the infamous "Black Baron" would come running out with his pants down, and jump into his Fokker Triplane. They'd go at it right over the crowds heads, and of course the Baron always went down in flames. He'd dissappear behind some trees and there would be a huge explosion. Good show. He had quite a collection. I understand Palen passed away a few years ago. I'm glad to see they are still keeping the show going.

Flying Circus??!!!!! My dad still keeps his copy on his computer believe it or not, it runs under winXP! I LOVED that sim, played it a ton, i think I was inside the top 50 or so for kills towards the end, what a fun great online sim that was, simple and fun. I really really enjoyed that. I loved the huge furballs that would develop over the central field, before they added the other bases.

Ahh, wonderful memories!

No - never tried that one. My father-in-law has RBII so I'm thinkg of borrowing that from him for a while. The air show made me want to jump into a WWI sim for a change...
