nice laptop a huge improvement over your old pc
but if you have bought it with the idea of playing the latest games you have made a huge mistake

It's not for latest games. Maybe for Dangerous Waters or Combat Mission...

Actually here's a question for the know-tech-stuff crowd...

What are the specs for ATI Xpress1150 256mb? Google is not helping here...

look at what a x1900xt scores and divide by 10

my guess would be
directx 9.0b sm2.0
4 pipelines
4 pixel shaders
2 vertex shaders

ATI X300

Basically the bottom of the range ATI GPU. You should be fine for DW, Combat Mission and older games.....anything that doesn't require lots of 3D basically.

I finally got it. It’s very light and silently quite. It’s definitely not a gamer system, but it does run DW without any problems. 3DMark05 default setting test gave me 697 points. Score is laughable compare to my main system score of 4794, but I didn’t get it for gaming. One future that I love is that I can attach second monitor to it and it will act as extension to desktop. That means I can watch a movie on a second monitor and surf net on main. Very cool.
