Since this is the hangout of the "geeks" (said in awe, not in derision), I would bet most of you have high end gear, right? Maybe not all, but I bet most.
Anyway, I am still running an ATI 9700Pro 128 Meg.
Who beats that?
Hi, I'm Larry and this my brother Dayrle, and this is my other brother Dayrle.

I've got three computers running here and one has an S3 Virge. That's pretty old in computer years. The other two are GF4 Ti4200 and X800XL. Trying to hold out for Directx10 cards before I upgrade again.

JM: My first PC (transitioning from Mac) had an S3 Virge. Mine is an STB, from right before 3DFx bought them. I bought it instead of a Rendition Verite'-based card...mistake!!!! The Jedi Master

Pffft ... luxury! I still have my very first computer, a Dick Smith System 80 which is a clone of the Tandy TRS-80 Model 1. It's got a 1.77mhz Z-80 CPU, not sure what it has in the way of graphics processing but from memory none at all as such. I vaguely remember it reserving a 1K chunk of ram for displaying video, and a friend an myself wrote a copying program that lived in that video memory to copy other large programs that filled the entire 15K of ram.

Am using Radeon 8500 LE in my "basement" computer. X800XL in wife's. X1900XT in mine. I've built systems (now in use) for relatives using my older but still useable cards -- original GeForce, a GeForce 2, and a Radeon X9600XT. I still own but no longer use -- really old 2D Matrox (when it was king), original Voodoo card bought the week of release, 2x Voodoo 2 SLI, Voodoo 3500, Voodoo 5500. And I still have my late 1970s Tandy TRS80 with built in graphics And the computer I designed and built from scratch in the mid 1970s is there too. These two are kept for sentamental reasons but could be "turned on" and used.
Sapphire Pulse RX7900XTX, 3 monitors = 23P (1080p) + SAMSUNG 32" Odyssey Neo G7 1000R curve (4K/2160p) + 23P (1080p), AMD R9-7950X (ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 420), 64GB RAM@6.0GHz, Gigabyte X670E AORUS MASTER MB, (4x M.2 SSD + 2xSSD + 2xHD) = ~52TB storage, EVGA 1600W PSU, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower, ASUS RT-AX89X 6000Mbps WiFi router, VKB Gladiator WW2 Stick, Pedals, G.Skill RGB KB, AORUS Thunder M7 Mouse, W11 Pro
