Been years since I went to an airshow, although they had one here in 2003, I think. I didn't come that day because I didn't want to face the crowds, but the day before as the planes arrived and practiced was AWESOME. Watched the Blue Angels 2 solo guys fly for over an hour, just the 2 of them, over and over. \:D

Thanks for the coverage.

two of the aircraft have now been retired (the Jaguar and Sea Harrier)
I may be wrong but I think that 6 Squadron still flies Jags along with the Fast Jet and Weapons OEU

Can't be long to go though ... \:\(

The only thing that dissapointed me about Farnborough was the height at which some aircraft performed at. The B1 bomber was a huge dissapointment, 1 medium altitude pass and she was gone, The Westland apache display was so high up the chances of a decent camera shot with you average camera was zero.

The Lynx put the Apache to shame though \:D

Gripen is not a 5th gen fighter as stated in your article...don't you need stealth to be 5th gen???

OK Jags have been retired from frontline duties - I believe these squadrons are disbanding as we speak. Thats a little like saying that Canberras and Meteors are still frontline
