this sucks. rainbow has nearly been fused to my DNA over the years. i was peeved that raven shield lacked bullet holes in people, and nearly didnt buy that game as a result -- but THIS game, lockdown, appears to be an absolute RAPING of absultly ever darn part of the experience i onve loved!

why hast thou forsaken me?

i guess raven shield will hafta be it for quite awhile longer.

thanks for the good review -- the only one i can trust.

Hi,

I got the demo the day it came out and thought within 5 minutes "this title is dead". How sad I am to see I was right. \:\(

As a result of the poor sales this thing will get I'm sure, Ubi will drop it altogether.

When I first heard that Ubi had bought the rights, the first thing that entered my mind was that this is just going to be the PC version of a dumbed-down console game. It wasn't far off.

Thankfully I have the original Rainbox Six, and all the mods, etc so they will definately be going back on the hard disk.

I really would like to talk to the devs and in particular, the managers of the devs and Ubi execs to find out why they feel this game is worthy:

1) to go on sale
2) be the 4th sequel to Rainbow Six when it doesn't come close to what had been before, and what people came to expect from the R6 series.

In memorandum of R6. RIP.
