Chris "BeachAV8R" Frishmuth interviews Dante Mendes De Patta, Jet Thunder Project Manager, to discuss the highly anticipated project covering the 1982 Falklands / Malvinas War. We also have seven exclusive new screenshots in 1600 x 1200 of the work-in-progress sim. Read the interview here: http://www.simhq.com/_air5/air_171a.html

Looking better and better! Can't wait for this sim!

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

That's certainly an ambitious development team...

Glad you did it Beach!

I was wondering about the sim, and now I know.

Thank you, guys!

Next week I will hopefully update the website with news and possibly with a video of the Pucara hunting that AI Gazelle helicopter around Mount Kent.

This should be ready together with the interview but I was "machineless" (well, not in a rig fast enough to do proper videos, and the Pucara stuff has some rough edges, like gun positions, to fix before a video can be done).

Then, as I finish the revamp on A-4 cockpit, I could post a video of the argentine air force air-to-air refuelling (yeah the KC-130s are in-game already, as seen by latest screenshots, they're being tested for their compound object scripts)

Thanks to Dante and the Jet Thunder team for their participation. What we've seen so far looks really nice. Definitely an ambitious project with all of the different things they are planning to include...I wish them luck!

Spokane, WA, USofA!
It is exceedingly refreshing to see the concentration
on the gameplay, and eye-candy later. The screenies look like
the eye-candy is doing well indeed, but the gameplay?
Sounds excellent...
