It's too friggin bad about the USGP as this year's competition is the best I've seen for a long while.

I think your first sentence summarized the race to a "T".

I don't understand how Fernado A. was able to dominate so completely this race. He slowed to a crawl when he crossed the finished line. During the post race interview, he mentioned that Renault made some changes in preparation for the week but he never said what. His launch control was the starting line was superior, but....its beyond me except some posters at Speed seem to think that Truli deliberately held up Schumacher.

Simple reason Fernando managed to do such a good job is because he set such a blistering pace in the first ten laps. Kimi was stuck in the slower traffic resulting in Fernando being half a lap ahead early on. After that it was just a case of matching Kimi's times. That said Kimi has a great race as did Button. Only real talking points were whether Schumi is going to be kicked out from being head of the GPDA & the fact that BMW wasted no time in kicking Williams for their dismal French performance - wonder what Jenson Button thinks of it all?!

I hope Jenson Button has a good sense of humor and irony if he ends the season "piloting" for Williams.

Latest I've heard is Williams getting customer Honda engines (as Jordan did in 2000) in exchange for forgetting about Jenson next year. Would make life interestng for Nick Heidfeld with BMW & Williams both after him for next year.....expect to see Anthony Davidson in the less appealing team!
