You can also adjust waypoints using the Up/Dn Lt/Rt in the middle of the lower toolbar in the Mission Briefing screen.
(you choose which waypoint below in the pull down box).
Wow! That's a rather handy if incredibly stealth feature. Still new things to discover 10 years in.
This will make those hair raising 160* formation turns much less terrifying. I did scour the FAQ and found nary a mention of this.
