Second, be aware that rebooting your ship to bring back shields will not work. Yup, ask me how I know that. I used them for awhile (Guardian Shield Reinforcements) but, after a few vigorous encounters with shields gone or low I was stuck until they self regenerated. Perhaps a Shield Cell Bank?
