When I grabbed the Captain's badge it made me the 6,742-ranked Inara pilot. I'm looking to keep improving this ranking, and badges are the ticket.

I looked at all the rankings for the other guys and I'm gunnin' for you!

Anyone know much about these? For example I'm looking at my Captain's badge. It shows currently...

Passengers Delivered 5,030/10,000
VIPs Delivered 968/1000

So what am I seeing here? Obviously these are the thresholds for a new level. But what if I only get VIPs to 1000? Am I level 2? Or do I need to hit both of these things to reach level 2? Anyone know how this works?
