Not only is the market is facing shortages in the substrate, components, and the GPUs themselves, but gamers also need to face price hikes on PC components in the United States due to increased tariffs, and across the world due to the rising popularity of GPU mining.
Interesting conundrum for me. I won't be able to get a 7nm RX6800XT at MSRP before April (??). But, a year later, the 5nm designs with improved structure will hit the market. Do I want to buy two expensive cards in consecutive years? At a minimum, it will stop me from considering the $1500 price range. Unless, I spot one soon and can't resist
