As far as I'm aware, the next ver. of WOFF will require the Platinum Ed. level to be able to upgrade further. I'm sure that Pol/OBD will see your post eventually and offer more info. and details.

At any rate, I recommend getting the Platinum Ed. when you can since it is an improvement in several areas over the already excellent Ultimate Ed. - the next version of WOFF will not be out until 2021, by the way, so if you are impatient - as many of us are - the Platinum Ed. is a fine choice.
