In homage to the best novel about air fighting in the Great War, bar none. If you haven’t read it, I very strongly recommend it. Indeed, so did TE Lawrence (“of Arabia”). Author Victor Yeates contracted “Flying Sickness D” (TB) during his service, and died in his thirties, so he wrote the book on borrowed time.


Yes but what about the German Airforce ? By the way, he had the idea to namie his novel "Wingless Victor" ,his first name being Victor, but the editor did not find that very enthousiastic !
