Coot, if that was in upstate New York, it was probably Cole Palin's Rhinebeck air show that you attended. If it was, then that was a Sopwith Pup that they were flying against that Tripe. Lived in New York, and used to go there. They put on a show every Saturday and Sunday. I recently was told that they are still doing it. It's been going on since the 1960's.
