Part the first of a post showing a series of pics taken during one of the excellent Instant Action/Historic missions included with the sim Battle of Britain II - Wings of Victory (v 2.13). I think the mission is 'Adlertag - 13th August' (although the units taking part don't quite match most accounts). The raids pictured are against airfields and other facilities west of the Isle of Wight. The Luftwaffe units are I/JG3 (Bf109), ZG26 (Bf110, unit code U8) and both flying Ju88s, KG51 (9K) and KG53 (B3). The RAF units are 74 (ID letters ZP) and 152 (UM) Squadrons flying Spitfires, and 238 (VK) and 510 (SD) Squadrons flying Hurricanes.
