t one of the reasons I like thermal vent is the fact that when your ship cools so dramatically the NPCs can't target it. They don't just shoot without lock like we do when a heatsink is dropped for example. So while you're hitting another ship and cooling off, you're essentially cloaked to the NPCs.
I hadn't thought about that! Great advantage. I remember when deep core VO mining, my cockpit would frost over, and the ship would chill down so it was comforting to be shielded from the sensors of any pirates lurking in the area (though they usually cleared out never to return at the beginning of the session)
