How gaudy

Last night Bo was talking about how his thermal vent beams weren't icing over his cockpit. I offered that you need to reach zero heat for this to occur.

A little while later I saddled up on a target long enough to test it with my Courier. This effect kicked in when reaching 3% heat. I remarked about this over the R/T but I wasn't sure anyone heard me, so I thought I would bring it up again. If Bo's Courier rests at 48% heat (I think is what he said) I think it's just too much heat to overcome to reach 3%?

My Courier rests at 29% so with sustained firing can reach the ice pit.
