The Rays proposal is to split their time between Montreal and Tampa. They want to play the spring and early summer in Florida and Montreal after the weather has warmed. There are many obstacles in this plan, not least of which is they have a long lease at the Trop. Interesting proposal though, and there is some precedent, such as when the Expos played a number of games in Puerto Rico.

It will be interesting to see how much traction it gets. Toronto won't want the Rays cutting in to their market control. But the Rays are good and still draw less than 15k per game. So something's gotta give.
