I've noticed a significant performance hit lately when flying Wings Over Flanders Fields. I looked at my cpu usage in task manager and found that, at idle after exiting my flight sim, the cpu was still at 25-30% and it was all rundll32. I looked up some stuff online and saw references that any rundll32.exe not in C:\Windows\System32 folder should be removed. A search found only one in that folder but several in the C:\Windows.old.000 folder.

What the Hell is C:\Windows.old.0000? Is that supposed to be there, like some kind of automatically created backup thing? Or is that a "There's no viruses hiding in here. Move along." folder? And if the latter, will just deleting it take care of the problem or is there something hiding deeper in my computer that will create it, and them, all over again?

SALUTE TO ALL!
