NVIDIA Discrete GPU Market Share Grew To 81.2%, AMD Fell To 18.8% During Q4 2018 – Worst Fourth Quarter For AIBs in Over 10 Years

RX mainstream cards based on the Navi architecture are supposed to hit the market around Q3 2019. It will be interesting to see if NVIDIA can maintain their lead in the coming months or not.

Some of the difference is due to new Nvidia GPUs coming on the market -- while AMD is still selling last year's models.

One attachment shows how many readers of the article use Nvidia vs AMD. As usual in these readership surveys (presumably informed serious gamers), AMD scores closer to Nvidia. The same things happen when the survey compares Intel and AMD -- its fairly close. However, in a previous post it was noted that Steam site data definitely favors Nvidia over AMD. Just info, FWIW.
