Lt. Rudolf Grebbs. Mission 5 Escort some Bombers to day. One heck of a fight. Planes twisting and turning all over. I got hits on two of them but nothing conclusive so did not bother with any claims. Our flight claimed 2 but we lost one of ours also.
Mission 6 Escort some JU88's to bomb factories at Dover.Another barn burner! Dove on some Spitfires intent on the bombers. One short burst and I blew his left wing off! The fight broke up fast after that and on the way home came upon a lone Spit trying to sneak up on 2 of ours. He never saw me coming and I sent him down in a trail of smoke. Both kills confirmed and they even gave me a medal to boot!
