Nvidia sued over data mining crash

A law firm in Los Angeles, California is encouraging investors who lost more than $100,000 by pouring money into Nvidia shares to contact the agency for participation in a possible class-action lawsuit.

The company is currently trading at $133.50, which is down from over $200 in mid-November, and much lower than its high of nearly $300 in early October.

Back in the day when I traded stocks, I saw the entire market as a "gamble" -- not an "investment". Since markets started in the early 1700s, its been "buyer better beware". Losses, some huge, are part of the "game". There are no guarantees for the average stock trader/investor. It will be interesting to see if this lawsuit has any traction.
