Shouldnt the landing be made on the Grass next to the Runway ? Instead of Blocking the Runway ? I remember seeing movies clips of B-17's, 1`2 O clock high and Memphis Belle, Where damaged a/c put down off Runway.
Hee hee, yes of course it should! But see I did not
know that my gear was up, the G key and I have a strange relationship. Sometimes it seems to work and then sometimes I have to push it several times. So I had quite a surprise at my touchdown, fortunately it was a good approach!
