Very recent AMD statement verifies what we've been reading that the first 7nm CPUs and GPUs are not far off -- the first in less than ~90 days they imply.

[AMD says] Our upcoming 7nm product portfolio represents the next major milestone for AMD computing and graphics leadership, including our second generation “Zen 2” CPU core and our new “Navi” GPU architecture. We have already taped out multiple 7nm products at TSMC, including our first 7nm GPU that is planned to launch later this year, and our first 7nm server CPU that we have sampled to strategic customers and plan to launch in 2019.

The first 7nm will be for professional use. It is speculated that consumer CPUs and GPUs will happen when the 7nm process is "proven" by those initial professional releases.

Interesting that they say "multiple" 7nm products have taped out. Multiple could mean only "two". But, normally, use of that word refers to "a few" or "several" -- i.e. three to seven. Maybe a fully designed consumer 7nm product is already actively coming down the pipe.
