Elder Scrolls, Fallout Director Todd Howard To Get Industry Legend Award at Gamelab

Todd Howard, the veteran game designer/director known for his work on Elder Scrolls (from Daggerfall to Skyrim) and Fallout 3/4, will receive the Industry Legend award during this month’s Gamelab conference in Barcelona, Spain.

I note this because Elder Scrolls and Fallout games are my favorites lately (I got started gaming with Flight Simulators -- XPlane 11 lately).

I get as much fun modding games and installing other gamers' mods as I do actually playing -- and both of those Todd Howard games were designed to lend themselves to modding.

The relevance here: I have Fallout 4 so heavily modded with large textures and added 3D features that it runs real slow at times. So, for me, FO4 was the "acid test" of my new RX Vega 64 card. I played about 5 hours of FO4 yesterday. RX Vega passed. At 2K (1440p) and stock GPU clocks, it got my 15FPS to 20FPS game sections to solidly over 30FPS.
