if i may, as a comic book nerd, this is a comic trope, you have the hero fighting his evil image to show the qualities of the hero,imagine if the hero turn that way instead, but this is why he fights, this is what he represents etc etc. its a formula so you empathize with them hence why they are applied them to hero origins movie,the audience must knows what move that character,his motivations,that why people complained so much about marvel villains in mcu, they were mere plot devices. Feige said they learned from that and they wont make that mistake on phase 4, so lets wait and see.
