the country they land on has old F14s or something in the hanger and they bust them out and kick ass and save the day.

The tarps are pulled off revealing a pair of Tomcats
Mav gives a knowing glance to his sidekick Duck
Mav "Can they fly?"
Cue after-burner takeoff and a shot of Mav with a wide smile
